Ticketmaster unveils Breakthrough 2024
Today Ticketmaster has revealed the 10 new names for Breakthrough, an annual compilation of buzzy acts expected to make waves in the year ahead. Making the list for 2025 are coming-of-age indie popster Alessi Rose; Irish folk trio and TikTok stars Amble; fiery guitarist and alt-rock visionary Aziya; West London rap sensation KiLLOWEN; Nottingham’s ‘Trippin’ pop and R&B singer LYVIA; the rising smooth operator Myles Smith; Ireland’s existential, punky pop singer-songwriter Orla Gartland; global garage phenomenon Sammy Virji; London’s soulful vocal powerhouse Sammy Spiro; and Edinburgh’s anthemic rock trio swim school.”

Housed in a historic building constructed in 1878, The Deaf Institute is a fun-loving bar and live music venue based in the heart of the Manchester Metropolitan University Campus.
A leading live music and clubbing venue, Electric Brixton pushes the boundaries of what is musically possible.
The much-loved venue has been going strong for over 25 years and has seen the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Bobby Womack and more grace its stage.
Known for showcasing new and emerging bands, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut has been at the forefront of the Scottish live music scene since opening in 1990.
Opened in 1997, it’s widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading venues for gigs and club nights which have featured artists from nearly every music genre.
Night & Day Cafe emerged in 1991 and is now where you’ll find tomorrow’s stars along with a stage that legends have graced.
A former Majestic cine-picture house, NX has recently enjoyed a major refurbishment which puts the music fan and artist front and centre of the musical experience.

Situated in South London, The O2 Academy Brixton, is one of London’s leading music venues, nightclubs and theatres.
Built in 1909, this was formerly the award-winning Corn Exchange and has played host to the likes of Blur, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Grace Jones, Oasis and more. It’s now part of the Academy Music Group, and has added comedy – including a month of stand-up as part of the Edinburgh Fringe – to its offerings
Opened in 2003 in a historic building and site, the O2 Academy Glasgow hosts a varied programme of events ranging from music and club nights to comedy and much more.
O2 Academy Islington is situated in North London and is a live music venue hosting a wide range of acts and weekly club nights.
The O2 Apollo in Manchester is a Grade II listed building, with a capacity of 3,500.
A former art deco cinema, O2 Forum Kentish Town is the host of some major live bands and club nights!
Built in 1927, the O2 Ritz was designated a Grade II listed building in 1994. The venue is notable for its sprung dance floor.
Built in 1903, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire is a music venue in West London, run by the Academy Music Group, and host some of the biggest gigs and dance nights in London.
Located in the heart of the city, O2 Victoria Warehouse was originally two huge warehouses built in 1925 and 1936. With its massive scale and exuberant architectural style, today it’s known for housing the area’s hottest gigs.
Drawing on a Nordic aesthetic, Oslo is a great combination of bar, kitchen, club and live music venue.

We don’t set ticket prices – artists and their teams work with promoters to do that. However, our concert and tours hub offer a big range of events – from tiny club shows to huge stadium dates – at a variety of prices for you to choose from.

All the listings on the Concerts and Tours guide display dates, venues and cities. Split into six genre pages, events are listed in alphabetical order for an easy browsing experience to find the best live music entertainment near you.

Again, concert start times vary. Usually venue doors open between 17:00 and 19:00 in the evening at arena, club and theatre shows, with some bigger venues like stadiums and cricket pitches opening earlier – from 12:00 noon, or 16:00. Times are dependant on the number of acts performing.

For most concerts and shows, the curfew time is 23:00. However, this may vary.

Most shows allow attendees aged 16 and over, or 14 and over when accompanied by an adult. Concerts who operate different rules will usually state it on the event page.
